Free farrowing
We are one of the leading companies in designing en producing free farrowing systems. We designed our own system “MultiFarrow” which is installed in many countries.

MultiFarrow
This system can be used as a traditional farrowing crate and as an adaptive farrowing crate. We usually install these crates in a combi setup, positioned head-to-head along the feeding aisle.
Advantages of the system:
Clear visibility into and around the farrowing pen from the feeding aisle.
Piglet nest positioned on the aisle side for easy inspection and user convenience.
Foldable side gates improve labour efficiency when housing the sow.
Safe zone for piglets and a barrier between staff and the loose sow for increased safety.
Piglet nest located next to the sow’s head, promoting calmness for both sow and piglets.
Easy cleaning when both side gates are folded up.
MultiFarrow Family
In addition to our MultiFarrow system, we offer a group housing solution for lactating sows with piglets called MultiFarrow Family. Each sow has her own farrowing crate for eating, drinking, and resting, while a central slatted area allows sows and piglets to interact freely.
Each pen features a rear gate that can be set manually or automatically to a catch position during feeding, ensuring sows stay in their crates so the farmer can safely inspect each animal. After inspection, the gates are pneumatically released, allowing sows to move freely again.
This system encourages piglet socialization, which supports healthy development and reduces stress during transfer to the weaner house.
